Roberto Ruscello>>>>
subject: Moustache Kosovo War
Roberto Ruscello is an Italian photographer, from Imperia near France.
Since 1997 he has collaborated with all the most important Italian agencies:
AP Italia, Ansa, Olimpia Milano, Infofoto Milano. His images are published
in Italian newspapers.
I met him 10 years ago, maybe more. We went to high school together, then
university, and then after we have kept in touch in different ways.
In October, we met at the wedding of a mutual friend. Between a couple
bottles of wine we talked little bit, some words, phrases. He is still the
same, now a photographer, working for a newspaper. He sells the photos to
different agencies, and he told me of his latest experience: war reporting
in Kosovo.
I purposed doing a section of MJA with Roberto, a section with his photos
with similar meaning, but filtered by him. Which cultural interference
could be found in the war? These are the images that he purposed using,
with the following expectation: to find a newspaper that would send him
again into warring territories.
Roberto is looking for new contacts. I personally wouldn't think it a good
idea if I hadn't see his eyes during the conversation.
All who are interested, please contact him by
